Plastic covers a range of synthetic or semi-synthetic polymerization products. They are composed of organic condensation or addition polymers and may contain other substances to improve performance or economics. There are few natural polymers generally considered to be "plastics". Plastics can be formed into objects or films or fibers. Their name is derived from the fact that many are malleable, having the property of plasticity.

Plastic recycling is the process of recovering scrap or waste plastics and reprocessing the material into useful products.

Ways of treating plastic waste:

Burning plastic which harms the environment by releasing toxic gas into the atmosphere!

Burying plastic in the ground!

Recycling the waste and sending it to be re-used by the factories.  Recycling keeps us from using new natural resources and helps us fight against polluting the earth with used materials.
